ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,441,887, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to CLARIANT INTERNATIONAL LTD (Muttenz, Switzerland).

"Partially saponified rice bran wax oxidates" was invented by Philipp Kratzer (Wertingen, Germany), Manuel Broehmer (Grobenzell, Germany) and Rainer Fell (Gersthofen, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to partially saponified rice bran wax oxidates, to a process for the production of these products and to their use for agriculture or forestry purposes, as an additive in plastics processing, in care products, in printing inks and/or in paints."
