ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,294,594, issued on May 6, was assigned to Cisco Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Intelligent quarantine on switch fabric for physical and virtualized infrastructure" was invented by Balaji Sundararajan (Fremont, Calif.), Gaurang Rajeev Mokashi (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Preety Mordani (Fremont, Calif.) and Vivek Agarwal (Campbell, Calif.).
