ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,373,722, issued on July 29, was assigned to CISCO TECHNOLOGY INC. (San Jose, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A single-shot graph state generator prepares matter qubits in an entangled graph state. Each matter qubit may be in a first state, a second state, or an excited state.
