ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,216,556, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Cisco Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Adaptive application recovery" was invented by Javed Asghar (Dublin, Calif.), Rajagopalan Janakiraman (Cupertino, Calif.) and Raghu Rajendra Arur (New Delhi).
