US Patent Issued to Cisco Technology on Dec. 2 for "Optical modulator with region epitaxially re-grown over polycrystalline silicon" (New York, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,487,476, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Cisco Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Optical modulator with region epitaxially re-grown over polycrystalline silicon" was invented by Alexey V. Vert (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and Mark A. Webster (Bethlehem, Pa.).
