ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,380,316, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Cisco Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Assurance of policy based alerting" was invented by Om Prakash Suthar (Bolingbrook, Ill.), Anwin P. Kallumpurath (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Rajiv Asati (Morrisville, N.C.).
