US Patent Issued to Circle Security AI on Jan. 20 for "Private application platform" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,531,836, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Circle Security AI (Oakland, Calif.).

"Private application platform" was invented by Robert Harry Stutch (San Francisco), Sara Duryea (Oakland, Calif.) and Joshua David Wynd (Berkeley, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods and systems disclosed provide for creating private networks for secured communication between devices. The devices can communicate with each other over a secure tunnel created for a closed circle of devices. Furthermore, the methods and systems can enable offline communication between devices on a private network."
