US Patent Issued to CHO PHARMA on Sept. 23 for "Antibody for enrichment of cells" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,305, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to CHO PHARMA INC. (Taipei, Taiwan).

"Antibody for enrichment of cells" was invented by Ying-Chih Liu (Taipei, Taiwan), Chien-Yu Chen (Taipei, Taiwan) and Ju-Mei Li (Taipei, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a modified antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to SSEA4; especially with a glycol-engineered N-glycan. The present disclosure also relates to a method for enrichment of cells with the modified antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof."

The patent was filed on Nov. 30, 2021, under Application No. 17/538,334.
