ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,174, issued on July 29, was assigned to Chinook Therapeutics Inc. (Seattle).

"Methods of improving renal function" was invented by Philip Thomas Frohlich (Vancouver, Canada), Andrew James King (Dublin, Calif.), Chidambaram Ramachandran (Vancouver, Canada) and Sarah Beth Noonberg (Seattle).
