ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,762, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Children's Medical Center Corp. (Boston).
"Treating atopic dermatitis by targeting the WNT pathway" was invented by Xi He (Jamaica Plain, Mass.) and Maorong Chen (Jamaica Plain, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods of treating subjects with atopic dermatitis, e.g., associated with mutations in the TMEM79 gene, using Wnt inhibitors, e.g., porcupine inhibitors."
The patent was filed on Sept. 27, 2019, under Application No. 17/280,411.
