ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,379,372, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER (Cincinnati).
"Digitalized human organoids and methods of using same" was invented by Takanori Takebe (Cincinnati) and Masaki Kimura (Cincinnati).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are digitized organoids comprising a detectable sensor, such as, for example, a Radio frequency identification (RFID) based sensor. Further disclosed are methods for making the digitized organoids. The disclosed methods allow for self-assembly mediated incorporation of ultracompact RFID sensors into organoids. Methods of using the digitized organoids are also disclosed."
