ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,442,294, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (San Ramon, Calif.).

"Production of low permeability geothermal resources" was invented by Jorge Arturo Acuna Cespedes (Katy, Texas), Anil Kumar Ambastha (Houston) and Carla Kathryn Dee Co (Houston).
