ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,293,289, issued on May 6, was assigned to Chenope Inc. (Half Moon Bay, Calif.).

"System to detect, assess and counter disinformation" was invented by Elizabeth Charnock (Half Moon Bay, Calif.), Steve Roberts (Half Moon Bay, Calif.) and Kathrin Haag (Edinburgh, Great Britain).
