ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,540,944, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Charles River Laboratories Inc. (Wilmington, Mass.).

"Recombinant amebocyte clotting factors and uses thereof" was invented by Masakazu Tsuchiya (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) and Norman R. Wainwright (Skaneateles, N.Y.).
