ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,128, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to CHANEL PARFUMS BEAUTE (Neuilly sur Seine, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A solid cosmetic composition including at least 15% by weight of a volatile liquid fatty phase, 40% to 85% by weight of a powdery phase having spherical fillers which are surface-treated with a metallic soap. Also a method for preparing such a solid cosmetic composition and to a method for making up the skin or lips using same."
