ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,493,014, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Centre National De La Recherche Scientifique (Paris).
"Nanostructure platform for cellular interfacing and corresponding fabrication method" was invented by Guilhem Larrieu (Toulouse, France) and Adrien Casanova (Toulouse, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A platform for cellular interfacing including at least one nano-probe based on nano-wires each having a conductive extremity intended to be in contact with a cell. The platform has at least one field-effect transistor called a nano-FET positioned at a predetermined distance from the nano-probe."
