US Patent Issued to Celestial AI on June 24 for "Clock signal distribution using photonic fabric" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,339,490, issued on June 24, was assigned to Celestial AI Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Clock signal distribution using photonic fabric" was invented by Philip Winterbottom (San Jose, Calif.) and Martinus Bos (San Jose, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various embodiments provide for clock signal distribution within a processor, such as a machine learning (ML) processor, using a photonic fabric."
