US Patent Issued to Caterpillar on March 18 for "Engine parasitic loading strategy using fuel pressurization" (Illinois Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,041, issued on March 18, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Engine parasitic loading strategy using fuel pressurization" was invented by Andrew O. Marrack (Peoria, Ill.), Lifeng Wang (Dunlap, Ill.) and Satya Naga Deepak Pillarisetti (Normal, Ill.).
