ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,352,200, issued on July 8, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Piston for compression-ignition engine having antebowl and engine operating strategy utilizing same" was invented by Brandon Bowditch (Lafayette, Ind.).
