ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,879, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Hydraulic pump with de-stroke control" was invented by Pengfei Ma (Naperville, Ill.) and Allan S. Thunes (Apex, N.C.).
