ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,307, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to CARRIER Corp. (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.).
"Energy recovery system" was invented by Jamal Zarrabi (Franqueville Saint Pierre, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and system used for controlling energy recovery from a vehicle, wherein the vehicle comprises a generator for recovering energy from rotation of the axle during operation of the vehicle. The method comprises measuring the inclination of the vehicle, and preventing the generator from recovering energy if the inclination of the vehicle is greater than zero."
