ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,416,045, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Caribou Biosciences Inc. (Berkeley, Calif.).
"Method of capturing CRISPR endonuclease cleavage products" was invented by Scott David Gradia (Albany, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention is a method of capturing DNA ends formed by endonuclease cleavage, such as CRISPR endonuclease cleavage, for downstream analysis including amplification and sequencing."
The patent was filed on Dec. 5, 2022, under Application No. 18/715,913.
