ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,209,208, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to Cargill Inc. (Wayzata, Minn.).
"Wood adhesive compositions comprising proteins and poly (glycidyl ether), and uses thereof" was invented by Kevin R. Anderson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) and James Michael Wescott (Minocqua, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is disclosed: a wood adhesive composition comprising a protein and a poly(glycidyl ether); a method for using the wood adhesive composition to make a composite wood product; and composite wood products made using the wood adhesive composition."
