ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,471,644, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to CARDINAL ENGINEERING LLC (Annapolis, Ind.).

"Extremity heater" was invented by Barry E. Mapen (Stonington, Conn.), Christian A. Whitney (Chester, Conn.) and Kevin P. Richards (Narragansett, R.I.).
