ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,209, issued on June 24, was assigned to CARDAX INC. (Honolulu).
"Astaxanthin esters and methods of use thereof" was invented by Henry L. Jackson (Honolulu) and Gilbert M. Rishton (Honolulu).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are tertiary amino ester derivatives of astaxanthin and methods of making the same and using the same, e.g., to improve inflammatory and/or cardiovascular health."
