US Patent Issued to CARBICRETE on Aug. 12 for "Carbonation curing method to produce wet-cast slag-based concrete products" (Canadian Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,384,724, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to CARBICRETE INC. (Montreal).

"Carbonation curing method to produce wet-cast slag-based concrete products" was invented by Mehrdad Mahoutian (Montreal).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present description relates to methods of producing a wet-cast slag-based concrete product particularly where the wet-cast slag-based concrete product is cast, pre-conditioned and cured with carbon dioxide inside a mould and/or inside a mould placed in a curing chamber. The wet-cast slag-based concrete product is optionally reinforced."

The patent was filed on April 13, 2022, under Application No. 17/719,498.
