ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,299,511, issued on May 13, was assigned to Capital One Services LLC (McLean, Va.).

"Transaction card with a removable weight" was invented by Samuel Rapowitz (Atlanta), Bryant Yee (Silver Spring, Md.) and Armando Martinez Stone (Arlington, Va.).
