"Planarization process, apparatus and method of manufacturing an article" was invented by Steven C. Shackleton (Austin, Texas) and Seth J. Bamesberger (Austin, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A planarization system is provided.
