ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,379,685, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Canon K.K. (Tokyo).

"Image forming apparatus" was invented by Keisuke Mogi (Chiba, Japan), Hisashi Tsukijima (Ibaraki, Japan), Yoshiya Numata (Ibaraki, Japan) and Masaki Maeno (Ibaraki, Japan).
