ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,535,480, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Canon K.K. (Tokyo) and Canon Medical Systems Corp. (Tochigi, Japan).

"Particle, affinity particle, and reagent, kit and detection method containing the same" was invented by Masao Suzuki (Kawasaki, Japan), Kazumichi Nakahama (Tokyo), Sakae Suda (Yokohama, Japan), Keiichiro Tsubaki (Tokyo), Kengo Kanazaki (Yokohama, Japan), Ryo Natori (Tokyo) and Fumio Yamauchi (Yokohama, Japan).
