US Patent Issued to Camfil on Sept. 16 for "Air filter and gasket for the same" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,416,429, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Camfil AB (Stockholm).

"Air filter and gasket for the same" was invented by Joseph John Gorman (Oak Ridge, N.J.), Adam Sienkiewicz (Midland Park, N.J.) and Jonathan P. Albar (West Milford, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are replaceable filter frame gaskets and air filters having the same. The gasket is secured elastically to a filter frame of the air filter, making the gasket easily reusable and removable from the air filter."

The patent was filed on May 30, 2024, under Application No. 18/679,351.
