ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,540,086, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Cameron International Corp. (Houston).
"Bicarbonate removal from monoethylene glycol-water streams" was invented by Brian Edward Messenger (Crawley, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and processes for the removal of bicarbonate from MEG-water-salt streams are provided. Such systems and processes remove dissolved bicarbonate from MEG-water-salt streams by addition of divalent cations and hydroxide anions."
The patent was filed on Oct. 24, 2023, under Application No. 19/111,325.
