ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,073, issued on April 22, was assigned to Calm Water Therapeutics LLC (Rochester, N.Y.).

"Bi-functional co-polymer use for ophthalmic and other topical and local applications" was invented by Eugene Rex Cooper (Berwyn, Pa.), David Maxwell Kleinman (Rochester, N.Y.), Andrew Loxley (Philadelphia) and Mark A. Mitchnick (East Hampton, N.Y.).
