ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,251,560, issued on March 18, was assigned to Cala Health Inc. (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Connection quality determination for wearable neurostimulation systems" was invented by Sami Balbaky (San Jose, Calif.) and Samuel Richard Hamner (San Francisco).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, devices, and methods for electrically stimulating peripheral nerve(s) to treat various disorders are disclosed, as well as signal processing systems and methods for enhancing diagnostic and therapeutic protocols relating to the same."
