ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,531, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to C.I. Takiron Corp. (Osaka, Japan) and Bonset America Corp. (Browns Summit, N.C.).
"Polyester-based shrink film" was invented by Takuma Kaneko (Osaka, Japan), Yuichiro Kanzaka (Osaka, Japan), Shuuta Yuge (Osaka, Japan), Tatsuya Irifune (Osaka, Japan) and Masanao Miyoshi (Osaka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a polyester-based shrink film having excellent predetermined impact resistance and having a uniform shrinkage ratio near the shrinking temperature."
The patent was filed on April 30, 2020, under Application No. 17/921,167.
