ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,794, issued on March 4, was assigned to C. R. Bard Inc. (Franklin Lakes, N.J.).

"Urinary catheter kits" was invented by James David Hughett Sr. (Monroe, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Urinary catheter kits can include a working tray, a storage tray, a protective paperboard, and a urinary catheter assembly, including a urinary catheter and a drainage system.
