ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,008, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to BT Wearables LLC (Bernardsville, N.J.).
"Smart watch" was invented by Bao Tran (Saratoga, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods include a cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth transceiver coupled to a processor; an accelerometer or a motion sensor coupled to the processor; and a sensor coupled to the processor to sense mood or body vital sign."
The patent was filed on Feb. 4, 2020, under Application No. 16/781,972.
