ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,540,020, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Brumate Inc. (Denver).
"No spill straw" was invented by Dylan M. Jacob (Denver).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects disclosed herein generally relate to beverage systems. Particularly, beverage systems comprising a straw mechanism that is magnetically secured to a lid structure. The beverage systems in accordance with aspects herein have straw mechanisms that are selectively leak-proof."
The patent was filed on Nov. 21, 2023, under Application No. 18/516,771.
