ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,178, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (Nashville, Tenn.).

"Pneumatic tire with a textured surface, method of manufacturing, and textured mold" was invented by Stephen J. Pierre (Polk City, Iowa), Jared D. Lofland (Ankeny, Iowa) and Andrew J. Minor (Bondurant, Iowa).
