US Patent Issued to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations on July 15 for "Temperature stable polymeric blends for use in non-pneumatic tires" (Ohio Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,058, issued on July 15, was assigned to Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (Nashville, Tenn.).

"Temperature stable polymeric blends for use in non-pneumatic tires" was invented by Jared J. Griebel (Orange Village, Ohio), Hyeonjae Kim (Copley, Ohio) and Bret J. Chisholm (North Canton, Ohio).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are polymeric blends suitable for use in non-pneumatic tires, processes for preparing the polymeric blends, and non-pneumatic tires and components thereof incorporating the polymeric blend. The polymeric blends include a thermoplastic polyester elastomer and a crosslinking compound."
