ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,368, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to BREATHE UP LLC (Maple Grove, Minn.).
"Breathing assist assembly and method" was invented by Amjad Hesham Altaher (Maple Grove, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Breathing is assisted through the use of an assembly including a panel having three end sections serving as attachment points, two of which are adapted to be attached to an ala of a user's nose and one of which is adapted to be attached to the user's forehead, the panel incorporating reinforcing members adapted to provide pulling force between each of the three attachments point to open the nasal passages."
