ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,764, issued on June 10, was assigned to Braskem America Inc. (Philadelphia).

"Propylene polymer resins" was invented by Kimberly Miller McLoughlin (Pittsburgh), Rodney Peratt (Pittsburgh), Craig Meverden (Pittsburgh) and Michael Stephans (Pittsburgh).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Propylene-based polymer resins and related compositions and processes are disclosed. The propylene polymer resins have high isotacticity and moderately high xylene soluble content. The polymer resins provide extruded sheets suitable for thermo forming that exhibit both sag resistance and ease of draw."
