ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,309,124, issued on May 20, was assigned to Box Inc. (Redwood City, Calif.).

"Predicting user-file interactions" was invented by Kave Eshghi (Los Altos, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is an improved systems, methods, and computer program products that use a cluster-based probability model to perform anomaly detection, where the clusters are based upon entities and interactions that exist in content management platforms."

The patent was filed on Oct. 23, 2023, under Application No. 18/492,727.
