ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,598, issued on May 13, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).

"Devices and methods for treating a stricture along the biliary and/or pancreatic tract" was invented by Peter L. Dayton (Brookline, Mass.), Raymond D. Gessler III (Roberts, Wis.), Srinadh Komanduri (Downers Grove, Ill.), Jason Matteson (Beldenville, Wis.) and Mark P. Olson (New Brighton, Minn.).
