"Wide hemostasis clip" was invented by Paul Smith (Smithfield, R.I.), Ray H. Tong (Foxborough, Mass.), Kevin McElwee (Berwick, Maine), Shawn Ryan (Littleton, Mass.), Matthew R. Jagelski (Milford, Mass.), Norman May (Valrico, Fla.) and Narunn Suon (Lawrence, Mass.).
