ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,200, issued on July 1, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).

"Intravascular ultrasound systems, catheters, and methods with a manual pullback arrangement" was invented by John D. Marshall (Los Gatos, Calif.), Peter Thornton Jr. (Los Altos, Calif.), Lewis J. Thomas III (Palo Alto, Calif.), Isaac J. Zacharias (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Gaylin Mildred Yee (Newark, Calif.).
