ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,147, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).

"Medical device capable of injection, cutting and coagulation" was invented by Robert B. Devries (Northborough, Mass.), Peter L Dayton (Brookline, Mass.) and Paul Smith (Smithfield, R.I.).
