ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,117, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).

"Powered endoscopic device with haptic feedback" was invented by Sharmad S. Joshi (Auburndale, Mass.) and Michael S. H. Chu (Brookline, Mass.).
