US Patent Issued to Borealis on May 27 for "Preparation of catalyst system" (Finnish, Austrian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,368, issued on May 27, was assigned to Borealis AG (Vienna).

"Preparation of catalyst system" was invented by Alexander Reznichenko (Porvoo, Finland), Ville Virkkunen (Porvoo, Finland) and Luigi Resconi (Linz, Austria).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Improved preparation process for silica supported catalyst systems, which comprise a specific class of metallocene complexes in combination with a boron containing cocatalyst and an aluminoxane cocatalyst and use of the new, improved catalyst system."
