ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,234,349, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to Borealis AG (Vienna).
"Semiconductive polymer composition" was invented by Daniel Nilsson (Stenungsund, Sweden), Niklas Thorn (Stenungsund, Sweden), Annika Smedberg (Stenungsund, Sweden) and Fredrik Skogman (Karlskrona, Sweden).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides a semiconductive polymer composition comprising (a) a base polymer of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, (b) at least 25 wt % carbon black; and (c) at least 1 wt % of an ethylene vinyl acetate wax."
